February 5, 2019 marks the start of the year of the Earth Pig in the Chinese Calendar. Pigs are gallant, strong and loyal. The Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is a fifteen day celebration. We will celebrate the Chinese New Year on February 4, 2019 (Monday).
The schedule for the day is as follows:
7:45 – 9:30 a.m. Inculturated Holy Mass Gr. 3-12
Dedication Ceremony of the Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto Junior High School Building
9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Recess
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Program
Regular classes after the program (to be announced by respective Departments).
Early Education, Grades 1 & 2 will have regular classes.
The Chinese New Year or the Spring Festival is the most significant festivity in the Chinese calendar. As a Chinese-Filipino community, let us joyfully celebrate this special occasion by wearing Chinese Attire or Red on February 4.
