Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The tradition of praying to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most widely known devotions of the Catholic Church. It is especially significant to our community because our school bears the name of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and we call ourselves Ateneo Hearters. Our motto calls us to be Lux Oriens, the Light Arising in the Land of the Morning. Being Lux Oriens means radiating the love of Christ through our prayers, words and deeds.

To help us deepen our devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we will celebrate the Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at 7:45 a.m. in the Magis Eagles Arena on the following dates:

August 23, 2018 (Thursday) Grade School Community
Presider & Homilist: Fr. Nono Levosada, SJ
Regular classes will resume after the mass.
Attire: School Uniform

August 24, 2018) Friday) High School Community
Presider & Homilist: Fr. Weng Bava, SJ
Regular classes will resume after the mass.
Attire: School Uniform

We will also celebrate the Mass in Thanksgiving for the blessings and graces we have received in the First Grading Period.
